All the results for the 11 Christmas Bird Counts in the AVAS area are in.  164 species of birds were found and 189,670 birds were counted.  116 different people went on at least one count.  Marjorie Joy went on the most counts, 7 of the 11, which was the most anyone could go on this year, since three counts in the same area were on the same day.  The Pueblo Reservoir CBC found the most species again, with 115, followed by Penrose CBC with 112.  The Rocky Ford CBC counted the most birds with 56,447.  The warmest count was the Lake Isabel CBC with an average of 40 degrees for the day.  The coldest count was the Monte Vista CBC with an average of 15 degrees.
