ARKANSAS RIVER HEADWATERS, JULY 17 and 18:  Join Donna Emmons for a weekend of exploring little-birded high-country sites around Leadville and Buena Vista.  Be prepared for easy to moderate walks/hikes over varied terrain, some at high altitudes.  

Meeting place is Gunsmoke Travel Plaza, Johnson Village (intersection of Hwys 24 and 285), Saturday the 17th at 8 am (arrive earlier for breakfast).  RESERVATIONS are required for this trip and you must make your own lodging arrangements in Buena Vista.  A list of accommodations is available at www.buenavistacolorado.org.
