HOW
TO BECOME A MEMBER OF
ARKANSAS VALLEY AUDUBON SOCIETY AND
NATIONAL AUDUBON SOCIETY
Beginning in 2003, AVAS has instituted a new membership process and dues schedule. There are three types of annual memberships:
1. Initial membership in AVAS and NAS
A non-member of Audubon may join both AVAS and National
Audubon by paying $20.00 directly to AVAS. Memberships are for
one year starting with the date the dues are paid. Joint
membership is encouraged so that we can have a voice in national
and state issues as well as local ones.
2. Continuing membership in AVAS
and NAS
After the first year, dues are $35.00 to
continue an annual membership in both the local chapter and
national organization. Renewal is done directly with AVAS.
3. Membership in AVAS only
A beginning or renewing membership in AVAS only requires
a dues payment of $15.00. National Audubon will
not be notified and AVAS will retain the entire dues amount.
To either become a member of or to renew membership in AVAS, click here for the membership form. Print a paper copy of the form and fill it out, including which of the dues plans you choose. In an envelope enclose the completed form and your personal check made out to AVAS and send them by U.S. mail to
